Mission statement: ARIA is a point of coordination for activities at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in information assurance (IA) education and research. We aim to foster collaborative and individual activities within the Department of Computer Science, other colleges such as the School of Management and College of Engineering, and Smith College, Mt. Holyoke College, Amherst College, and Hampshire College. By our involvement in research projects, undergraduate- and graduate-level educational programs, outreach, and speaker seminars, we seek to increase the quantity and quality of IA activities available to students and faculty in the Five College area.
